Matthew Russo currently serves as RMC Consultants' Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.  In this capacity, he oversees captive insurance administration, sales, and marketing.  He also has an active role in product development, and is working to bring new and exciting opportunities in risk management to the marketplace.  Matt came to the CJA family in 2009.  His initial role was providing actuarial support to the administrative and case design departments.  Matt continues to provide oversight, quality assurance, and illustration development and support to CJA's advanced case design department and sales desk.

Matt graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.  Prior to coming to CJA, he spent several years as a project engineer in the coastal engineering design and consulting industry.  His work included feasibility analysis, design, and construction monitoring on projects ranging from beach nourishments and coastal structures, to environmental impact assessment, and marina and resort development.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys surfing and biking, among other outdoor activities.  He is also active in the local music scene, writing and playing guitar in the southwest Florida rock band, Love in War.
